Design / Build Construction
Lyncon has 15 years of experience in building using the Design/build method of construction. Our clients have found that the fast track nature of design build allows for increased flexibility and more control over cost, quality and schedule. A number of our clients are repeat clients it has allowed us to build a cohesive team with our design partners. With negotiated rates and fees along with a competitive subcontract community, the design build method of construction works for everyone involved.
Pre-Construction Services
Lyncon offers a full range of preconstruction services including conceptual estimating, MEP coordination, detailed schedules, constructability reviews and value engineering. With these key components in place a lot of the risks associated with a project can be eliminated or managed. We believe that these steps if implemented properly can lead to a successful project.
Construction
Lyncon can offer project expertise in all areas of general contracting. We have professionals that have a broad range of experience building including new building construction, tenant improvement projects, clean rooms, industrial applications, retail, data centers and seismic upgrades. Every project whether large or small has a Lyncon team assign to it that consists of a project executive, project engineer and Superintendent. Our staff is LEED accredited and we have completed a number of LEED certified projects. We have state of the art accounting and project management software to assist with cost control, schedule and estimating.
Safety
Our experience modification rate is .85. Our safety program includes a site specific plan for each site due to the unique challenges that every site can bring. It is mandatory for our field personnel to take the 30 hour OSHA class annually. We have a safety officer assigned to each project to monitor and check to make sure our program is being implemented. To date Lyncon has not had a reportable safety incident on any of our sites.
Construction Management
Lyncon can facilitate a project from start to finish providing Owner representation in all phases of a project. The CM portion of our services can find and bid the architectural portion of the project as well as find the right general contractor to support the project. Another benefit to this system is the ability for the Owner to complete multiple projects using the CM contractor as a management tool.
Equipment Purchase
Lyncon can pre-purchase the equipment for a project to save time and money. Typical project equipment might include electrical switchgear, emergency generators, mechanical equipment (air handling equipment, cooling towers and chillers) and overhead cranes. The early bid and selection of the equipment can assist a designer in providing more complete information on a set of contract documents.
