Advanced Thermal Sciences & Test Support Buildings

This new 82,000sf R&D facility and 1,700sf Test Support Facility will be completed to a minimum LEED Silver Classification. Lyncon is providing a complete Level 400 BIM coordinated model for construction coordination and record documentation. This new state of the are facility Includes over a million square feet of sitework improvements consisting of new utilities, future provisions for Fuel Cells, new landscaping, hardscape, and parking, while preserving many of the existing mature trees. The two story R&D facilities structure consists of concrete foundations, 800tons of structural steel frame, concrete tilt panels, composite metal deck and concrete, with and exterior system inclusive of composite metal panels, custom Prodema paneling and a curtain wall system. The all new extensive lab MEP systems designed by AlfaTech include Lab Supply and Exhaust, Boilers, cooling towers, expansion tanks, humidifiers, air handlers, VAV’s, process cooling water, special gases, DI water, lab waste, cleaned dry air, complete fire protection system with lab fume hood and duct sprinklers, power, low voltage, security, voice and data. The facility includes new clean environments, offices, breakrooms, labs, and storage.
 
Lockheed Martin - Bldg. 156H West Addition

Project Value: $48,000,000

75,000 sf new building addition. The new construction included coordination with an environmental test chamber being constructed by the Owner’s vendor simultaneously. Demolition of an existing parking lot, demolition of existing structures in and around the footprint of the new building, new utilities, a foundation to house the environmental test chamber, structural steel frame for 3 story building, metal siding, new utility infrastructure, and new clean environments.

Lockheed Martin - Bldg. 178 Vehicle Maintenance Facility
2007 - Sunnyvale, CA Project Value: $5,800,000
New LEED Silver certified building composed of vehicle maintenance/repair facilities, vehicle wash station, and fueling pumps.


Exodus – New Server Rooms
2003 - Project Volume: $3.1 Million
Design and construction of a new 18,000 sq. ft. Server Facility including HVAC design, electrical design, a leak detection system, structural upgrades and modifications, raised access flooring, and roof screen.

2008 - Palo Alto, CA
Project Value: $3,300,000
Prepare existing building for complete demolition and removal, including underground utilities relocation and safe-off of all building services.

Sun Mirco Systems – SCA 23
2007 – Santa Clara, CA
Secured Government office area. This project included improvements and electrical & mechanical upgrades with SCIF capability and government approval.


Exodus – New Building HVAC System
2003 – Santa Clara, CA
Project Volume: $1.8 Million
The project included new CRAC units and PDUs to upgrade an existing data center.


NASA Ames Research Center
Mountain View, CA
Project Value: $2,450,000
10,000 sq. ft. office space to data center conversion including a Class 1000 clean room facility and remodeling of Executive suites.


Cidco
Morgan Hill, CA
This Design/Build project required demolition of existing office space in Building 220 to prepare for the move of MIS from Building 485.


Seagate

Complete build out of a 20,000 sq. ft. data center and 10,000 sq. ft. executive office spaces.
